A warm front pushed from off-shore out over the ocean raising the temperature here six degrees in less than an hour, meeting the cooler air that was sitting out over the water. This created a wonderful lightning storm just off the coast, which, by chance, also sparked a wild-fire on Catalina island — sadly destructive, but quite beautiful even though I couldn’t quite capture it with my camera.
